1 Each of 4 patterns - Spring Forward, Paradise, Deco Delights and Brighton Birds

1 Side full-colour printed, 1 side monochrome with space for a heading

350gsm Recycled card

21 x 5 cm (same height as an A5 notebook)

My bookmarks are, in my opinion, the perfect combination of sophisticated pretty bookmark and practical page marker. And this way you get all 4 of them (and they’re a little less than if bought individually too!).

All the designs on these bookmarks - Spring Forward, Brighton Birds, Deco Delights & Paradise - have all started life as hand-drawn motifs, often while sat at home on the sofa, and gradually I have drawn them better, sometimes added paint, and then digitised them as part of my creative practice to turn them into repeat pattern designs.  And then I get to put them all on to various items of stationery!

So one side of each of these bookmarks features a full colour version of the full pattern, printed from edge to edge, for maximal colour impact.  The opposite side has a simple line drawn version of the pattern in a light grey, so it’s a little less bold and means you can easily see any headers you might want to add to the ‘empty’ circle that is towards the top of the bookmark. Maybe you need a page marker to help you easily find ‘Today’ in your planner, or your ‘To-do’ list.  Or perhaps you just need to write your name somewhere so everyone knows the book is yours.

They are printed on 350gsm recycled card, so they are easily robust enough to be used and moved around daily, but they’re also not so thick they’re unwieldy and might damage the book and its spine.  The card is uncoated, meaning you can easily write in nearly any sort of pen or marker on it, and you could even choose to add colour to the monochrome side if you wished.  The only thing I’d want to say though is that watercolour isn’t a great idea - unless used very carefully - as it may disrupt the printed ink, and of course make sure your bookmark is fully dry before you put

These bookmarks aren’t individually wrapped, but will come bundled together in a small belly band and in an envelope to help protect them while in the post.

As a full set they can make a great gift for a keen reader or writer, but really come into their own when gifted to someone like a research student, a teacher, someone who loves a journal/paper planner or is taking up bullet journalling.  Basically anyone who might need to keep tabs on lots of different pages, but wants to do it in a colourful way!
